About a month ago Anna was invited to share in a double birthday party with one of her good friends from her class at school. Camden's mom had these bottles of perfume made just for the two girls. I went on the website (even though the store is about 5 minutes away) for a birthday idea for someone and saw their perfume displayed.

Memorial Day Weekend
We had some Groupons to use so we went ahead and redeemed them before I had my big surgery. We went to Dinosaur World in Glen Rose and Miniature Golf in Fort Worth. This was the first time either kid had miniature golf. We all had a great time!

Easter 2012
It rained on Easter this year so the kids had to "hunt" Easter eggs in the house. Gran and Grandad were also here for the weekend. It was also the first "Good Friday" since I have been with Mineral Wells ISD that I had off. In the past three years, we had to go on "Good Friday" to make up for bad weather days.
I have no idea why I do not have a picture of Andrew and Anna in their new Easter outfits.........

Andrew's Baseball Season
So I am going backwards now from the end of school and catch some of the highlights of our Spring. Andrew tried out for baseball in February. It was his first year to play a sport. When he tried out and got put on a team, his coach told Alan that Andrew impressed several coaches that day and fought over who would get Andrew. He ended up on the Rockies. He had so much fun......he played several positions but his favorite was catcher. Andrew's greatest strength that was well noted not only by his team mates, coaches and other parents but the coaches on the other team was Andrew's running speed. When Andrew hit the ball toward the pitcher or 2nd or 3rd base, the coaches would yell "Hold the ball, he's too fast!"

Anna Graduates! May 15, 2012
Anna has blossomed so much this year under Mrs. Floyd. The medal she is wearing is for the spiritual gift of "Loving" Mrs. Floyd stated that she is so loving and caring to all her classmates and is very aware of when people need to be prayed for. She mentioned that she asked for prayers for me that my choir students would sing right for me so I would not be so stressed! LOL!
The moment I will not forget that evening, is when Anna walked down the aisle NOT with her head down and a finger in her mouth but with her head held high and and big smile on her face. WOW! She just glowed the entire ceremony!

The Last Day of School 2012
Mrs. Czajkowsky and Andrew on the last day of third grade.............where did this year go? At his award ceremony he received the A,B Honor Roll, Out Standing Citizenship, Perfect Attendance and his Fruit of the Spirit award is "Self Control." I am so very proud of Andrew for persevering even when things got hard in our family this Spring. Thank you to his wonderful teacher who knew just how to reach him too!
Mrs. Floyd and Anna on her last day of Kindergarten! I am not sure I am ready for her to be in First Grade.
