One of the things I do like about Kenedy Elementary is that they celebrate Christmas and Easter and we get out for Good Friday. Not all schools do this now days. I was able to come and spend time with Anna's class Thursday morning before school let out at noon for Easter. On Friday we headed to Corpus Christi and went to the beach and ate dinner at Pier 99; our favorite place to get sea food in Corpus. We now have a tradition on Sunday morning to make resurrection rolls. We take crescent rolls (tomb) a large marshmallow (Jesus) and use butter and cinnamon sugar and seal the marshmallow shut. After baking, the roll is opened and Jesus is no longer in the tomb. The kids love this!!! I also had to take Easter pictures and what better place than behind our house where there were many bluebonnets. Easter is always special but the time we spent as a family made it precious!
